The StarT programme support the implementation of interdisciplinary project-based learning in accordance to the newest national core curriculum of Finland. <\/strong>StarT is aimed for learning communities ranging from early childhood education to upper secondary schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The main goal is to strengthen the interest of children and youngsters towards mathematics, science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n StarT brings people together from all around the world and allows them to experience the joy of collaborative learning<\/strong> and joint success. StarT is exceptional as everyone learns together as a learning community by carrying out phenomenon-based and cross-curricular projects. <\/span>Furthermore, in StarT different learning communities share their best educational practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone can be a part of StarT: learning communities, teachers, specialists, students, families and companies<\/strong> \u2013 just find your own role \u2013 either working on the projects, participating in our activities or supporting the projects as a specialist or sponsor. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n You are free to carry out project-based learning within StarT in the schedule that best suits your needs. There is no registration to StarT programme, but there can be a registration for a specific StarT event. Please note, that the events organized vary each year. To help those wishing to carry out a StarT-project, we have put together a few tips with link to supporting material.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Start planning your project-based learning unit by familiarizing yourself with the StarT program and the events of the year, please note that these can vary. In addition, the project should end with some kind of concrete creation that answers the question.
